Eastern Missouri Crappie Club Tournament Updates

September 2009
On September 12,2009 Eastern Missouri Crappie Club held their two man
buddy tournament at Mark Twain Lake.
First place was awarded to the team of Ron Molitor and Bob Bray with
9.16 lbs. earning the team $288.00. Second place went to the team of Tom
Holtmeyer and Paul Click with a weight of 8.30lbs earning the team
$192.00 for their efforts. Third place was the team of Mike Wehde with a
weight of 7.22 lbs. earning the team two 10' crappie rods donated by
Grizzly Jig Company.
1st big fish went to the team of Ron Molitor and Bob Bray with a weight
of 1.52 lbs. earning the team $84.00. 2nd big fish went to the team of
Mike Wehde with a weight of 1.32 lbs. earning the team $36.00 for their
efforts.
Great job to the winning teams....................Our next tournament will be held on Saturday October 10,2009. This tournament will be our final tournament for the 2009 schedule.
* Attention Club Members *- The October Tournament will Not have a
meal and year end awards afterwards. The club will hold a January 2010
meeting (date to be determined later) for meal and year end awards.

August 2009
On August 22, 2009 Eastern Missouri Crappie Club held their adult
youth tournament at Mark Twain Lake. The adult/youth tournament was
formatted to try and keep children interested in outdoor activities.
This is a very challenging yet fun tournament for all to test their
skills.
First place was awarded to the team of John Boise and Ralph Neimeier and
youth with 7.60 lbs. Second place went to the team of Paul Click, Ray
Click and youth . Third place went to the team of Tom Holtmeier, Greg
Holtmeier and youth. Fourth Place went to Mike Wehde, Christie Wehde and
youth.
1st big fish went to the team of John Boise and Ralph Neimeier with a
weight of 1.32 lbs. 2nd big fish was a tie between two teams. The team
of Mike Wehde and Christie Wehde and the team of Bob Bray and youth with
a weight of 1.26 lbs.
Great Job to the winning teams.
July 2009
On July 26, 2009 Eastern Missouri Crappie Club held their hole
tournament at the North Fork Arm of Mark Twain Lake. The North Fork hole
tournament is formatted with four holes and each team fishes a hole for
2 hours then must move to the next hole. This is a very challenging yet
fun tournament for all to test their skills.
First place was awarded to the team of Steve Vogelgesang and Matt Boschert with 7.68 lbs. earning the team $300.00. Second place was a two way tie between the team of Joe Meyer and Debbie Sosinski and the team of Bob Bray and Ron Molitor with their weights of 7.34lbs earning each team $150.00 for their efforts. Third place was the team of Shane Cappel and Keith Mueller with a weight of 6.98 lbs. Earning the team two 10' crappie rods donated by Grizzly Jig Company.
1st big fish went to the team of John Martens and Steve Perotti with a weight of 1.35 lbs. earning the team $105.00. 2nd big fish was a tie between two teams. The team of Shane Cappel and Keith Mueller and the team of Paul Click and Tom Heitmeyer with a weight of 1.25 lbs. earned each of the teams $22.50 for their efforts.
Great Job to the winning teams....................Our next tournament will be held on Saturday August 22,2009. This tournament will be our adult /youth tournament. This tournament will have a fishing time of 7:00am-12:00pm and each team must be in way in line at 1:00pm. The kids must catch two of the seven fish at weigh in. There will be a member meeting Southfork Resort on Friday 8-21-09 at 7:00pm.
